At some point, every man will either formally or informally go through a rite of passage. The Bridge Builders formalizes this experience for its prospective gents by challenging them intellectually, physically, and emotionally in relation to the seven barometers of manhood. These barometers are adapted from Dr. Jawanza Kunjufu's "Countering the Conspiracy to Destroy Black Boys" vol. III: spirituality, scholarship, cultural awareness, effective use of time, entrepreneurship, community building and respect.
